As our wedding season comes to an end for 2009 it is time for us to scrub the floors, repaint the walls and get started on our new projects for 2010!!!  The project I am most excited about is the new garden being planted, just past the bridge, out by the ceremony site.  The guests and then the bridal party and finally the Bride will all be able to walk over the bridge and then through this beautiful, flowering garden on the way out to the ceremony point, providing a spectacular backdrop for photos of the processional and recessional!  The garden has been planted full of a variety of different flowering bulbs and plants, that are in bloom at different times throughout the year in order to provide fabulous flowers all wedding season. 

Once the garden is finished, new sod will be rolled out with a brand new sprinkling system, which will ensure whether or not mother nature is on our side, the grass out on the point will be green all season long!  These are just a couple of the improvements going on here at The Oaks this winter.  Check back soon for updates and information on some of the other exciting things we have in the works!
